2007 to feature legendary men, women, and machines at series of special events

PICKERINGTON, OHIO - The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum, America's premiere showcase of motorcycling heritage and history, has announced a full schedule of events for 2007, beginning with the Annual Fundraising Breakfast. Featuring Harley-Davidson design expert and Motorcycle Hall of Fame member Willie G. Davidson as the honored speaker, the breakfast will launch a year of dynamic Museum activities.

From the October 5-6 Motorcycle Hall of Fame Induction and Concours d'Elegance Weekend to celebrations of favorite motorcycle marques, every Museum visit is an opportunity to experience award-winning exhibits and learn memorable stories. Located adjacent to Interstate 70, just minutes from Columbus, Ohio, the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum's exhibits and events take place in over 15,000 square feet of gallery space, surround by 23 scenic acres.

The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum engages visitors by bringing the stories behind the famous machines and faces to life. Priceless motorcycles, memorabilia, historic images and unusual artifacts are presented in each of the Museum's three galleries. Many of the exhibits feature interactive elements that invite kids of all ages to touch - such as the current "Motocross America" exhibit where tomorrow's racing stars can try on the
latest motocross gear and prepare for a "photo op" on the victory podium.

All 2007 events at the non-profit Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum are open to the public and many are free of charge:

."Motocross America" Exhibit. See, hear and touch the action-packed history of America's original action sport through this expansive exhibit. Featured are more than 60 legendary motocross machines, hundreds of artifacts, personal treasures on loan from racing and industry stars, rare original images and special interactive sections, such as a Motocross Resource Center designed to help parents and kids get involved in racing. Admission fees. Through December 2007.

.Annual Fundraising Breakfast. Harley-Davidson styling guru and Motorcycle Hall of Fame member Willie G. Davidson, better known to millions of enthusiasts as Willie G., will share his vision of Harley-Davidson's iconic design heritage at the 19th Annual Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum Fundraising Breakfast during Daytona Bike Week. Admission fees. Friday, March 9, at the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort.

Japanese Motorcycle Saturday. Japanese machines in every style, from sport bike to cruiser to café racer, are on display during this enthusiast gathering. Visitors will enjoy rare bikes, a free, unjudged bike show, special guests, food vendors, seminars, and more. Saturday, June 2, at the Museum.

.European and British Motorcycle Saturday. Any fan of European and British machines will enjoy this celebration of marques such as BMW, Norton and Triumph. The event will feature seminars by prestigious speakers and an unjudged, free bike show for machines up to 2007. Saturday, June 30, at the Museum

.AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days. More than 40,000 motorcycle enthusiasts gathered at last year's annual celebration of motorcycling heritage, makingit the biggest vintage motorcycle event in America. Visitors can meet the legends of the sport at the Museum's Motorhead Café, enjoy Harley-Davidson Sportster as Marque of the Year, bid on rare classics and memorabilia at tthe world-class Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum Vintage Motorcycle Auction, watch AHRMA racing greats battle it out on four race tracks, browse the world's largest motorcycle swap meet, try the latest motorcycles from today's leading manufacturers, and shop dozens of new gear and accessory vendors. Admission fees. July 27-29, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Lexington, OH.

.Motorcycle Hall of Fame Weekend and Concours d'Elegance. Meet and mingle with motorcycling's most famous names at the annual Hall of Fame Induction, plus enjoy over 100 of the nation's rarest motorcycles at the 6th annual Motorcycle Hall of Fame Concours d'Elegance (all day Saturday). The weekend includes a Friday "Evening of Stars and Legends" reception at the Museum,
autograph sessions, Saturday gala Induction dinner and ceremony. October 5-6, at the Museum.

.Motorcycle Hall of Fame Holiday Online Auction. A virtual shopping extravaganza awaits gift givers starting November 1. That's the day the Museum "opens" the door to its annual online holiday auction. All proceeds benefit the Museum and museum staff accepts auction donations throughout the year. About the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum. The goal of the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum is to tell the stories and preserve the history of motorcycling. Located on the campus of the American Motorcyclist Association in Pickerington, Ohio, the Motorcycle Hall of Fame honors those who have contributed notably to the sport, and three major exhibition halls showcase the machines and memorabilia that have shaped motorcycling. The Museum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily; and is closed
on New Year's, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Adult admission is $10 per person; students 12 - 17, $3. AMA members $5. Seniors receive a $2 discount and members of motorcycle clubs and organizations are eligible for a $1 discount per ticket. A $25.00 family rate and group rates are also available.
