Our own Mitch Kendra was at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland, Ohio, for the announcement of the 2026 Monster Energy SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX) schedule. The event allowed local Ohio media outlets to learn about Monster Energy AMA Supercross with the series' return to the Buckeye State scheduled for April 18, 2025. The Cleveland SX will mark the first time in 30 years the SX paddock has stopped in Cleveland. Note, the Cleveland SX will also be a Triple Crown race this year.
Ohio native Jeremy Hand participated in the event, as did several key individuals from Feld Entertainment/Monster Energy AMA Supercross and the Cleveland Browns organization, including: Broc Glover, multi-time American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) Champion and AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame inductee; Sean Brennen, Director Public Relations - Supercross; Bill Heras – Director of Operations for Supercross; JW Johnson – Managing Partner, Haslam Sports Group (owners of the Browns); and David Gilbert; President and CEO, Greater Cleveland Sports Commission.
