In his final ride with the Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull/GasGas team at the 2024 SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX) Finals, Pierce Brown earned his first career win. It was a big day for the Utah native, who claimed his first ever moto win as a pro, his first overall win as a pro, and his fifth career overall podium. Brown also jumped a handful of positions to finish third in the 250SMX championship. Then, on Monday after the race, he thanked the team that he turned pro with full-time back in 2020. Brown was on KTMs as an amateur from 2014 through his final season in the pro sport in 2019 before making the jump to the pro scene full-time with the Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull KTM in 2020 supercross. Brown’s new ride—which has been rumored for a few months now—is with the Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing team. Brown will be national #20 in 2025.
