  • Welcome to the New Racer X Illustrated

Everything around us is changing, from what we ride to how we watch the races to where we look for information and entertainment. What hasn’t changed is our love and passion for motorcycle racing and the moto life. Racer X Illustrated has been on this ride since long before we turned an underground newspaper into a shiny color magazine in 1998. We are deeply rooted in moto—we’ve been here all our lives. And while Racer X may have started out in a basement garage in Morgantown, West Virginia, it has steadily grown into a massive, multi-level media platform for moto fans and enthusiasts all over the world. Now, we’re about to grab another gear and go further and faster. We started the new season with a challenge for new initiatives for a better reading experience, beginning with our new digital edition.

Our readers have long known they can go to Racer X Online to get all the news, race results, and event coverage they need, and then enjoy even more detail and perspective in the pages of the print magazine. The mag offers chances to learn something new on every page and stay connected with the people and personalities that shape our sport—the competitors out on the racetrack, as well as the ones behind the scenes—through our deep-dive stories that are exclusive to Racer X Illustrated and don’t appear online.

Our trademark has always been insider knowledge from the experts who are at the races and around the sport. We have long prided ourselves on our unparalleled race reporting and detailed storytelling. Racer X has always been the leader: full-color, online, multimedia, and more. We go inside with the riders and teams to give you comprehensive coverage that you won’t find anywhere else.

Now, with our revolutionary digital edition, we finally have the perfect engine to drive all of these compelling stories home on your preferred device. It’s specifically designed to give readers a true magazine-reading experience digitally, making the clunky pinch-and-zoom days on your mobile device a thing of the past.

And we’re talking about the premium journalism and reporting that is only available in the print or digital edition. This content is not available anywhere else online.

In order to show you exactly what we mean, we’re inviting you to take this new digital edition for a complimentary test ride. Whether you’re at home, at the track, or somewhere in between, you can immediately dive into the latest offerings from our editors and contributors: Ping, Matthes, Weege, EJ, JT$, and more. We hope you’ll find it to be efficient, rewarding, and easy to navigate, which means you can finally enjoy the best of Racer X Illustrated anywhere, anytime.
