Red Bull KTM announced today that Trey Canard would miss round seven of Lucas Oil Pro Motocross this weekend at Southwick following a practice crash while testing this week.
According to the team, Canard did not sustain any bodily injuries, but the impact was bad enough that he’s elected to sit out this weekend.
After missing much of Monster Energy Supercross and the first four rounds of the Nationals due to shoulder/collarbone injuries and an illness, Canard returned at Muddy Creek and finished 10-11 in his first two motos of the season. He went 13-11 last weekend at RedBud.
The championship is off for a week following this weekend and will return for round nine at Millville on July 22.
