Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Adam Cianciarulo, who left the MXGP of the Americas at Charlotte Motor Speedway early last night after a hard crash early in the first moto, said on Instagram today that he is just “banged up” and will be “good after a little rest”.
Cianciarulo was battling with teammate Austin Forkner for the holeshot last night in the first MX2 moto when he hit a slick spot and lost the front end. He went down hard and early reports were that he sustained a shoulder injury. He did not return for the second moto.

All good guys. Was bummed because I felt great all day and was looking forward to some good racing! Unfortunately I hit a little slick spot & the next thing I knew I was on the ground. Sucks my day ended too early - but with that said I'm just banged up and I'll be good to go after a little rest. Blown away by all the positive comments and support, you guys are awesome!
