Jake Weimer says he’s “good to go” for this weekend at Round 16 of Monster Energy Supercross from East Rutherford. The Soaring Eagle/Jimmy John’s/RCH Suzuki rider made the announcement on his Instagram page today.
"Last weekend was a tough one. OUCH. I'm glad I wasn't seriously injured , although I felt like I got ran over by a train, it was only a couple of bikes haha. Pretty sore for a few days but I'll be good to go this weekend."
Weimer was involved in a four rider crash in the 450 main event in Foxborough. The crash occurred when Weston Peick made a mistake in a rhythm section and Weimer, with nowhere to go, hit his rear-wheel. Justin Barcia and Broc Tickle were also collected in the crash, with Weimer getting the worst of it when Tickle and then Mike Alessi ran into him. Weimer did not finish the race.
