Bereman, Durham: East Coast is Toast
Santa Clarita, California — Since the beginning of Fasthouse, we’ve always been more about having a good time than turning in the best results. Because let’s face it, riding motorcycles is an escape; and a way to forget about your troubles and only focus on one thing—having a good time.
With the rapid growth of Fasthouse over the past few months, we recently came across the opportunity to support two of the sport’s raddest riders—Darryn Durham and Tyler Bereman. “It is super cool to be involved with Darryn and Tyler. They’re our kind of people,” said Fasthouse founder Kenny Alexander. “They love to ride dirt bikes, have a lot of fun, and throw back a couple of cold ones.”
When the duo approached us about their 2016 East Coast Is Toast Tour, we couldn’t pass it up. Over the course of the East Coast Supercross series, they will be traversing the country while making random stops at numerous riding spots and tracks. “That’s the goal—to have as much fun as possible—and that’s what we’re going to do,” said Durham about the upcoming trip. Both riders will be competing in the East Coast 250 Class aboard Thousand Oaks Powersports support machines—Durham on a YZ250F and Bereman on a KX250F. They will also be debuting the all-new Fasthouse pants, jerseys, and gloves. “I’m super stoked to get on the road and race,” said Bereman. “We’re going to film the whole thing, do 10 episodes, and document the entire trip. It’s going to be exciting.”
Once the season gets under way next weekend in Atlanta, you can expect a weekly East Coast Is Toast episode, covering each week’s adventures. All episodes are slated to be released on The Viewing website. It will be like you’re on the road with them, traveling the country and having the time of their lives. “We are looking forward to The Viewing,” said Kenny Alexander. “And we all wish we could go on the trip with these guys, they are going to have way too much fun. We are stoked to help support the road trip and to have them riding for Fasthouse.”
