Springfield, MO. – The 2015-2016 Nitro Arenacross Tour is back after a record-breaking season, which will consist of four regions to crown multiple champions. The season kicks off from Mesquite, Texas, at the Mequite Rodeo Arena on Friday, November 13, traveling to nine different cities across the Midwest. Each weekend hosts two rounds for a total of twenty rounds, with the season finale in Springfield, Missouri, on March 11 and 12 at the Ozark Empire Arena.
The regions allows riders to race for a championship within a championship. To qualify for regional awards a rider must race all six races of the region. ATVs run Saturday night only. If racing ATVs, a rider must race all three to qualify for regional awards. UTVs race Saturdays only at Du Quoin, Kansas City, and Tulsa events. All regional and tour winners will be listed in Racer X Illustrated next summer.
Arctic Cat signs on as new title sponsor of the Nitro Arenacross Tour. They will also be the title sponsor of the three-race Indoor Arctic Cat National side-by-side series. The three rounds will take place starting in Du Qouin, Illinois, November 21, then move to Kansas City, Missouri, on January 23, and conclude in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on February 27. Each race will have a purse of $200 for first, $100 for second, and $50 for third.
