JS7 to Run Vortex PINK Campaign CAT 5 Sprocket at RBSR
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Vortex Racing, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of motorcycle racing components, announced today that James Stewart will run the Vortex PINK Campaign CAT 5 Sprocket at the Red Bull Straight Rhythm event this Saturday, Oct. 10 at 12:30 p.m. Pacific Time in Pomona, California, at Fairplex. Stewart joins the ranks of other Vortex riders who have run the PINK sprocket in nationally televised events, including AMA Pro Superbike Champion Josh Hayes, who ran PINK at NOLA in 2012, and Blake Baggett who ran PINK at the Monster Energy Cup last year.
This is Vortex’s fourth year launching its PINK Campaign. Annually, Vortex makes a pink version of their CAT 5 Sprocket and donates 25 percent of net retail sales of the pink sprocket to the American Cancer Society earmarked for its breast cancer programs.
“We are so excited to see James go PINK at the Red Bull Straight Rhythm event this weekend to support breast cancer research. By running this pink sprocket on the national stage, James is going to be a shining beacon of hope by raising breast cancer awareness within the motorcycle racing industry. With James’ help, and the help of other riders like him, we hope to change that,” says Matt Griffin, president of Vortex.
