  • MSR Launches 2016 Line

Irvine, CA — Featuring everything from ADV wear to race gear as seen in the X-games, the 2016 Malcolm Smith Racing product range has you covered! Now with the MSR HardParts product range incorporated into the mix, outfitting your bike with Baja-proven components is also part of the one-stop shopping experience. All the new gear is highlighted in the first half of the book, with specialty tools and application charts for the HardParts from crankshaft bearings to silicone radiator hoses, rounding out the 140-page package. To help call attention to the 2016 gear, a very cool video has just gone viral as well.

“From Malcolm Smith starring in the original On Any Sunday film that inspired an entire generation of riders to do it in the dirt, to the stars of tomorrow like Austin Eddy, Luke Lopiccolo and Parker Goyette. MSR has always had a strong on-screen presence,” says MSR Brand Manager Nick McBride. “For that reason, we created a cool video to highlight the 2016 collection in action.”  Shot at JDayOffRoad races and incorporating comments from woods riding standouts like Paul "Poacher" Goyette, Johnny Girroir and Bob Santheson, the video went live today and can be seen here.

No strangers to starring in MSR videos, the current kings of the desert Colton Udall and Mark Samuels, WORCS hero Robby Bell and Extreme Enduro champ Jonny Walker also have cameo roles in the print/digital product guide. Even Malcolm's son Alexander shows he is a chip off the old block in the new catalog. "The 2016 gear is the real star of the show, and this catalog is a true block-buster."

"Ramps, stands, tire irons… MSR was founded on thriving in the toughest conditions possible! We haven't forgotten our roots, instead we celebrate the spirit of innovation that Malcolm Smith based this company on,” claims McBride. "As it says right on the cover: 'We Are OffRoad.'"

From soft goods to HardParts, helmets to bearings, the entire 2016 Malcolm Smith Racing product line-up can be seen here.
