It was announced today that HRC Honda's Evgeny Bobryshev will miss the upcoming Motocross of Nations in Latvia due to a broken tibia and fibula suffered in Italy on June 15. This is a huge blow for Russia, who with Bobryshev, were expected to be a top-ten contender in late September.
Bobryshev said in a statement that it's disappointing because "Latvia is a great place with lots of Russian fans."
The team has yet to announce a replacement for Bobryshev. Alexander Tonkov (MX2) and Evgeny Mikhaylov (Open) are slated to ride for Russia in Latvia.
