Yamalube/Star Racing/Yamaha’s Jeremy Martin may have entered the 2014 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship as a long shot for the title, but he never wavered throughout the long summer after securing the red plate and point’s lead at round one. We’ll catch up with the newly crowned 250 champ tonight and get his thoughts on this defining year in his young professional career.
GEICO Honda’s RJ Hampshire made the jump to the professional ranks at Unadilla after an impressive perfect week at the pinnacle of amateur racing down on Loretta Lynn’s ranch. The Florida native didn’t take long to settle into his new job, including a top 10 at the series finale in Utah last weekend. RJ is a great hard working kid and we’re glad that a new base of fans is getting to finally see that, too. Welcome to the big show, RJ!
We were fortunate enough to have covered Grant Langston’s racing career and can tell you that he’s always been the same down-to-earth and no bullshit kind of guy that we’ve enjoyed in the TV booth this summer. Motocross fans have connected with his brash style, honest opinions and the sense that he’s enjoying the racing as much as anyone on the fence line. We always dig some time with the Zulu Warrior and will get his closing thoughts on the season.
