AURORA, Ill. – Feld Motor Sports® announced today that Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A will be an official motorcycle manufacturer and the exclusive ticket outlet for the 2014 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, season, that kicks off Saturday, January 4 from Anaheim’s Angel Stadium.

The 2014 Monster Energy Supercross season marks the 16th year that Yamaha has been a committed partner of the championship. As part of the sponsorship initiative, more than 120 Yamaha dealerships nationwide will serve as the official and exclusive supercross ticket outlet for fans. Fans who purchase tickets through participating Yamaha dealerships will also receive a free Monster Energy Supercross Pit Pass, which provides them the opportunity to spend a day in the pits and the chance to meet the superstars of the sport.

“Yamaha has been a committed partner of Monster Energy Supercross for 15 years, and we welcome them back for their 16th season,” said Ken Hudgens, COO, Feld Motor Sports. “Their network of dealerships gives fans the opportunity to check out their new line of products and take advantage of a great ticket offer that gives them access to the popular Monster Energy Party in the Pits.”

Yamaha will also be a new official sponsor of Supercross Live! ®. With three hours of live streaming video coverage from each Monster Energy Supercross race, Yamaha will provide fans with updates and news on brand new products, ticket and sweepstakes offers, Yamaha rider interviews and much more.

“Yamaha and our dealerships are extremely proud of our long standing relationship with Feld Motor Sports as the Exclusive Ticket Outlet of Monster Energy Supercross,” said Bob Starr, communications manager for Yamaha Motorsports. “And this year, the new Supercross Live! streaming video coverage will surely energize supercross enthusiasts even more just as our all-new YZ250F and 450Fs already have!”

JGRMX/Toyota/Yamaha Team riders Josh Grant and Justin Brayton will be riding the brand new 2014 YZ450F motorcycle which features a new EFI engine, an entirely new frame, minimized body work and new suspension components providing for excellent mass centralization and class leading 450 power with 250-style handling.

Fans can get their tickets today at their local Yamaha dealer. Learn more about participating Yamaha dealer ticket outlet locations by visiting www.SupercrossOnline.com or www.yamaha-motor.com.

In 2014, 13 Monster Energy Supercross Championship races will air live on FOX Sports 1 starting January 4, at the season opener from Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif., with re-airings on FOX Sports 2, which will air three live races.
