AURORA, Ill. – Reigning three-time AMSOIL Arenacross, featuring Ricky Carmichael’s Road to Supercross, Champion Tyler Bowers would likely agree that the 2013 season was the most memorable of his career. The Babbitt’s Monster Energy/AMSOIL Kawasaki rider successfully captured his third consecutive Arenacross Class title and capped off the season with a surprise inaugural victory at the Eastern Regional 250SX Class finale of Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship. His successes were historic and it vaulted Bowers and AMSOIL Arenacross into the spotlight as a breeding ground for future talent.
With the 2014 AMSOIL Arenacross season nearing, Bowers is already looking ahead to cementing himself as one of the all-time greats in the discipline. With a potential fourth championship in his sights, the current king of AMSOIL Arenacross is pulling out all the stops to ensure he’s at the top of his game come January. Part of that preparation was competing at the Monster Energy Cup this past weekend, going toe-to-toe against the world’s elite riders. AMSOIL Arenacross caught up with Bowers to see what he’s been up to and get his thoughts on another title defense.
