AMA Womens MX Cup Schedule Released

As Memorial Weekend is the official start to summer, the girls of summer will be headed to Freestone Raceway for the AMA Womens Motocross Cup (WMC).

To give greater value to the riders and families, the AMA Womens Cup for 2013 will be a three moto format starting on Saturday, May 25th. The first moto's for every Womens Cup class will be held on Saturday. Then on Sunday, May 26th, all mini classes will race for their championships with the 2nd and 3rd moto's being concluded. The final day will be on Monday, May 27th when all the WMC big bike classes hitting the Freestone national track their 2nd and 3rd moto's.

"We are excited to continue the Women's Cup" said Tom Shields, Event Director. "As women's racing evolves, many realize that the female demographic wants something to call their own. The meet gives every rider a class to compete in."

The AMA Womens Cup is held in conjunction with the Motorex Oils AMA Texas State MX Championship and does not require qualifiers to attend. The Texas State Championship is a two moto format with mini's racing both moto's on Sunday and big bikes racing on Monday. The weekend is packed with racing to include a Women's A/Pro Sport class and serves as an AMA Pro Am weekend.

Note:

o $30 Weekend Pass per person payable in full upon entering Fri/Sat and is good through Monday.
o If arriving after 3pm, there is no gate fee for that day.

Online Sign Up & Registration at Track:

All minors attending this event without parents must come with a notarized statement from parents or legal guardian giving permission for another adult to act as guardian to sign releases. See website for example under Minors Consent Tab.

o Online registration is open from Monday, May 6th through Monday, May 20, 2013 (11:00pm) CST.

o Registration (race weekend) accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express or cash only. NO CHECKS.
o To "finalize" race entry, Pre-Entry riders (to include parent/guardian/authorized adult if rider is a minor) MUST check in at Registration to sign releases and get practice sticker before you will be allowed to practice or race.
o Two notarized parental consent statements are needed for guardian/authorized adult to sign releases for minor.
o To receive practice sticker, ALL RIDERS must be present at registration wearing wristband.
o Riders MUST bring last 4 digits of VIN of every bike competing on when registering.

Must hold a valid drivers license to drive Golf Karts or Utility Vehicle. No Pit Bikes or ATV's (4-Wheelers) allowed.
Permitted Pit Vehicles include:
- Golf Carts - MUST have Valid Drivers License (DL) to operate vehicle.
- Side x Side - MUST have Valid DL to operate utility vehicle.
- Scooter with Helmet (must be legal to drive).
- Bicycles with Helmet.
All Permitted Pit Vehicles must be parked by 10:00pm.
