Sara Price to Compete for Miss California

Sara Price, from Canyon Lake, will be taking off her motocross gear and putting on a gown to compete in the upcoming Miss California USA. The Southern California native has been making news in the motocross world winning AMA/WMX Rookie of the Year in 2009, a Bronze Medal in the 2010 X Games and will now be competing for a different title, ‘Miss Motocross’ in the Miss California USA.

While healing from an injury sustained during practice for the 2012 X Games, Sara decided to take the down time and compete in a Miss Teen Pageant and won Miss Photogenic while finishing first runner up.  She has now been invited to compete in Donald Trump’s Miss California USA pageant January 12 & 13, 2013.

Sara is not your average athlete, she’s  a business woman with a charitable heart. While helping her parents run their automotive business, she’s also the Ambassador for Kids Cures Foundation, and is the spokeswoman for MotoMingle.com, a social network for the off-road community. Sara also continues her love of motor sports by running her own riding academy, SaraPriceMX.com.
