We are just around the corner to this year’s 2012, 13th Annual Motosport.com Top Gun MX Team Shootout presented by Rockstar Energy Drinks. Hosted over Labor Day Weekend (Sept. 1st – 3rd) at the “green and pristine”, National-caliber motocross mecca Washougal MX Park. This event draws the Northwest’s elite riders and race teams to showcase their individual talents and accumulate points for their respective teams for an overall finish, in hope for glory and the overall win. One team will be awarded the “Top Gun Trophy” and will have their team etched into the record books!
Early Bird Pre-Registration for riders will close this Thursday, August 23rd at discount entry fees. Post sign up will be available from Friday, August 24th to Saturday, Sept. 1st till 9am at the track. Riders and teams can sign up via online, fax or email. PAST CHAMPIONS
The Motosport Hillsboro/Hyper X team will be back in full flying colors to defend their championship this year and hopes to hold on to the elusive “TOP GUN TROPHY”. Scott Russell of Motosport Hillsboro and Stu Bailey of Hyper X Racing are seasoned veterans when it comes to formulating the perfect team and look to build on their success for 2012.
$3,000.00 CASH TEAM PURSE + TEAM TROPHIES
This year we will be bringing back the cash purse and also giving illustrious team award plaques for the Top 10 overall placing teams!
$15,000.00 PRO PURSE
Professional riders will be battling it out for 3 motos, in each class (250 Pro/450 Pro/Unlimited Pro) in hopes to take home a slice of the cheddar. The 25+ Pro and 30+ Pro classes will also offer 100% pro payout purse.
