On The Podium: Soule and Knight Lead Charge
The 2011 AMA Endurocross Championship was in Denver, Colo., for Round 5 action this weekend, and multiple Moose Racing riders were on hand to post top-10 finishes. Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Justin Soule scored a sixth-place result on the evening and remained fifth in the season standings. Soule will now look to continue his progression up the overall leaderboard as he sits only six points behind Cody Webb and 12 points behind Geoff Aaron.
Also posting an impressive top-10 effort was Kevin Rookstool. The KTM rider has climbed back into the top 10 in the championship, sitting ninth with just two rounds remaining on the season.
The Endurocross Championship will have a couple weeks off before returning to action on October 22 from Boise, Idaho, for Round 6. The series will wrap up November 19 from the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
Across the Atlantic, KTM and Moose Racing’s David Knight dominated Round 6 of the British Enduro Championship. Knight would collect victories on each day and capture a first-place overall finish at the conclusion of the weekend. The victory is Knight’s second in-a-row and third overall on the British Enduro Championship season.
