DEFT Family and Nate Adams Success Continues

Temecula, CA - Nate Adams and DEFT Family’s successful 2011 season continues on building more momentum in only the brands second year as a company. After back to back Red Bull X-Fighter event wins, Nate Adams went into X Games 17 more prepared and confident than ever before, bringing home two gold medals in the Moto X Freestyle and Speed & Style events.  One of the best weekends of Nate’s already impressive career.  To make things even better DEFT Family teammates Mike Mason, Jeremy Stenberg, Todd Potter, Tarah Gieger and Josh Sheehan all earned medals in their selected disciplines. First up was recent DEFT Family addition Jeremy (Twitch) Stenberg earning a gold in best whip followed up by Todd Potter with a sliver. Then it was Australian Josh Sheehan’s turn stomping a double back flip in best trick with a bronze. Later in the weekend Mike Mason and Nate went head to head in the Speed & Style final, with Nate barely edging out Mase for gold in one of the most exciting finals of the weekend, giving Mason his first X Games silver medal. Last but not least was DEFT’s first lady Tarah Gieger locking up two silver medals in women’s Moto X and Enduro X with very impressive rides in both.  “Things are just working out for us right now,” said Nate Adams, cofounder of DEFT Family, “We all put a lot into this and there’s nothing better than seeing everyone’s hard work pay off.”

No time for a break though as Nate instantly headed to the next stop of the Red Bull X-Fighter round in Poland this past weekend, where he was able to bring home yet another win, his third X-Fighters win in a row giving Nate the series points lead heading into the final round next month in Australia.  “Its honestly been kinda surreal this year with how well everything has been going and we’re just really proud and thankful for all our athletes and the support they have given us from day one.  It really makes all the work on our end worth every minute to see our friends getting the results they deserve and we can’t thank them enough!
