BTO Sports to Sponsor Holeshot Award at 2011 Monster Energy Mammoth Motocross

BTO Sports is proud to announce that they will be honoring holeshot awards at the 2011 Monster Energy Mammoth Motocross coming up. This is their first year sponsoring the event, and they plan to bring a wide array of things to the table. One of them being, $50 BTOSports.com gift certificates to each (non professional) “First Moto” holeshot winner. You may be asking yourself “Why only first moto?” – Well, the way that the race structure breaks down is a bit complicated, and we want each and every person in each class to have their shot at the award, so we are taking the approach of covering every first moto, so nobody has to qualify to get a shot at the holeshot award. Quite frankly, all you have to do is pin it.

We will be issuing the awards beginning Saturday the 18th of June, through Saturday the 25th. Unfortunately, we will not be issuing any holeshot awards on Sunday the 26th. The whole day of Sunday the 26th is sponsored by an industry competitor of ours (Loco X), and out of respect for them, we will not engage in any sort of award giving on their day. We apologize to all you 450 class racers out there who will be racing that Sunday, as we will not have any holeshot awards for you on that day. (note that there will also not be any holeshot award for any “pro” race, or for the “DC Shoes – Golf X” race.)

Aside from the $50 holeshot awards, BTOSports.com will be bringing a wide array of prizes for all the racers and foot traffickers of the pits. We aren’t just talking about stickers or pens either (while we will have those), we are talking about some pretty serious prizes. Big ones. You will have to stop by the BTOSports.com pit for yourself to find out. It has even been rumored that the grand prize will be issued to the man (or woman) who can record the fastest (successful) tire change on a 19 inch wheel. Expect to see some serious talent out at the tire stands- breaking beads, busting knuckles, and screaming obscenities while they give it their all to win that grand prize.
