ARMA Energy/Suzuki City Race Report: Toronto
March 29, 2011, 8:45pm
The ARMA Energy/Suzuki City Team was charging hard at the Toronto Supercross this weekend in front of a huge crowd of 45,217 Canadian fans at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. ARMA rookie Malcolm Stewart came out strong but had a crash in the main on the second lap, resulting in 19th place.
The Toronto Supercross is the series’ lone international race for the 2011 season. For Stewart, qualifying and the heat races went well. In the main, he didn’t get the best start but made some good passes to move into 2nd place. On the second lap, he clipped a tuf block going up the face of the triple, causing him to come up short. Stewart did not re-join the race after his crash. He is looking for a good rest of the series and he is currently sitting in 8th place in the East Coast Lites series standings.
“Malcolm Stewart continues to ride strong and is fast becoming one to watch each week. He’s having a great rookie season and we’re confident that he’s going to get on the podium. The ARMA Energy/Suzuki City Team is a great representation of the ARMA brand,” said ARMA spokesman Scott “Hollywood” Sepkovic.
ARMA Energy racers are now preparing for round 13 at the Dallas Supercross April 2nd in Dallas, Texas.
