Bel-Ray Racers Ready to Compete in Houston

Round 6 of the Monster Energy Supercross series takes place this weekend at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas and Bel-Ray sponsored teams and riders are ready for action.
Following last weekend’s third place finish in Anaheim, Bel-Ray backed Two Two Motorsports’ Chad Reed is starting to find the speed that has brought him race wins in the past. His second straight podium finish resulted in a jump from 5th to 3rd in the points standings.
Dodge Motorsports/ Hart and Huntington’s team rider, Ivan Tedesco, tied his season’s best finish with a 7th in the main event, while his teammate Chris Blose was 17th by the end of the night.
As the series moves east to Houston for Round 5, all three Bel-Ray backed racers are in the Top 15 in the series points standings, with Reed in 3rd, Tedesco in 10th and Blose in 15th.
With the East Coast lites division starting this weekend, Bel-Ray has 3 riders competing in that class as well. Pennsylvania based Steve Roman returns for another shot at Supercross glory. He has made several night shows in the past and is looking to step it up this season. Joining Roman in the Lites class, will be Pennsylvania’s Ronnie Stewart and New Jersey’s Frankie Lettieri. Both Stewart and Lettieri will be making their Supercross debut this weekend in Houston.
