  • ARMA Energy and Suzuki City Debut At Houston Supercross
Carlsbad, CA– ARMA Energy racers are gearing up for the upcoming AMA Supercross this Saturday February 12th at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas. The Houston Supercross will mark the debut of the ARMA-sponsored Suzuki City team, featuring Malcolm Stewart and Sean Lipanovich. Both Stewart and Lipanovich will be racing East Coast Supercross Lites Championship Series.

2011 will be Team Suzuki City’s fourth year racing and every season their riders placed solidly inside the top ten of the AMA East Coast Lites Championship Series. Both Lipanovich and Stewart have had successful amateur careers and are looking forward to getting strong results in Supercross. Stewart is the brother of Supercross Champion James Stewart. Joining the ARMA and Suzuki City team in Outdoors this year will be former Champion Jason “JLaw” Lawrence, always a crowd favorite.

“ARMA is excited to be working with Suzuki City and taking on the East Coast series. We look forward to solid results this season from Stewart and Lipanovich and are proud to have them flying the flag for ARMA”, said ARMA spokesman Scott “Hollywood” Sepkovic.

Suzuki City, based in Biloxi, Mississippi, is one of the largest volume Suzuki dealerships in the United States. In addition to ARMA, the team’s other sponsors include Nitro Circus, O’Neal, Dunlop, Hinson, K&N, Motul, HPI Racing, Works Connection, Sunstar, RK Xcel, Leo Vince, Pro Circuit, Vention, HB Race DNA, RG3 and TCX Boots.

ARMA is also a main sponsor of the Hart and Huntington team, including racers Ivan Tedesco, Chris Blose and Josh Hill. The team had a strong showing last weekend at A2 and looks forward to more solid results in Houston. Look for Tedesco to lead the charge, and coming off a 7th in Anaheim, is currently sitting at 10th place in the AMA Supercross points standings.

ARMA is also offering the chance for every racer, at every round, in each class, to walk away with some extra money in their pockets. Racers will be able to benefit from the added contingency support from ARMA this Supercross season. ARMA is giving over $100,000 in contingency payouts for the 2011 AMA Supercross and Supercross Lites classes. This is the first of many years that ARMA Energy will be supporting Supercross. ARMA established its roots in Motocross in 2010 from the Summer X Games and Outdoor Nationals to the grassroots amateur races.

AMA Supercross is the premier motorcycle off-road racing series in the world with events broadcast on CBS and the Speed networks. ARMA’s involvement with the Dodge/Hart and Huntington team solidifies our deep commitment to supporting motocross and Supercross on a variety of levels, from amateur to professional.

Watch the ARMA racers competing to get on the podium at Houston on CBS February 13th at 12pm EST. ARMA Energy can be found on Facebook and on Twitter. Check out www.armaenergysnx.com for more on ARMA products, news and team.
