BTOSports.com Thomas Strikes Back at Anaheim 2
February 9, 2011, 9:00pm
In a race where the teams and competitors went pink in support of breast cancer, BTOSports.com/BBMX/Palmetto Suzuki’s Jason Thomas used his love of boobies to spur him on to a great ride in the main event. After having a little bit of bad luck at the previous round of Oakland, Thomas came out and missed the main event by one in his heat and it all boiled down to the Last Chance Qualifier.
Once there, the #47 Suzuki grabbed the holeshot and as we all saw last year, Thomas comes through in the clutch in these types of situations. Jason was eventually passed by another rider and came under great pressure for the final transfer spot but he held strong all the way to the end.
Once in the main event, Thomas did the best he could with his gate position. It was a battle back and forth with a few riders and at the end of twenty laps, JT$ came across in sixteenth.
“I’m happy to make the main, I feel like that is where I belong-no doubt about it” said the all-heart Thomas “I have to do better once I get in there but it’s coming. I’m glad to score enough points to be in the top twenty practice next week in Houston.”
