Answer Racing’s James Stewart Make’s It Two In A Row
Corona, CA- Coming into the 5th round of the AMA Supercross series, all eyes were glued on to who was going to be coming away with the victory at A2. Answer’s James Stewart answered that question in convincing form as he captured his 3rd win of the year and second in a row.
Anaheim 2 marked AMA Supercross’s annual Breast Cancer Awareness race, which had everyone decked out in pink, including Answer’s James Stewart. The nights events got under way with James grabbing the early heat race lead and riding away for the win. Everything looked to be in place for James to capture his 3rd win of the year.
As the gate dropped for the final race at Anaheim in 2011, James grabbed the holeshot and never looked back. For 20 laps, Stewart continued to ride mistake free and took the A2 win in dominating fashion.
“I am so proud of everyone on my team for making this happen,” said Answer Racing’s Stewart. “It’s awesome to come here and win in front of a sold-out crowd here at Angel Stadium. I am out here racing against the best guys in the world, so this is never easy.”
This win helped to extend James lead in the 2011 AMA Supercross series in which he is looking to capture his 3rd title.
With the next round of the AMA Supercross series this weekend in Houston, James looks to extend his points lead and capture his 4th race win of the year.
