The Legends & Heroes of MX 2011 Tour will be honoring 6 Time AMA National MX Champion, Broc Glover at A2

Merced, CA- Multi National Champion, Broc Glover, will be honored on the Monster Energy stage this Saturday night for his contributions to the motorcycle industry and accomplishments on the track.

Alex Moroz, managing director for the Legends and Heroes of Motocross Tour states “Many fans may not remember this, but in 1977 Glover, a 17-year old rookie, won the AMA 125cc Motocross Championship for Yamaha.   Glover proceeded to win the title again in 1978, and again in 1979, becoming the series' FIRST 3-Time Champion.  In addition to nabbing the 125cc championship, Broc secured the 500cc AMA National Championship three times and was part of two winning American Motocross of Nations teams.  The mission of the Legends and Heroes of Motocross Moto Museum is to preserve, display and interpret the motorcycle history of motocross, the people and race machines of the sport.  Mr Glover’s accomplishments are epic.”

Fans can see the Legends and Heroes of Motocross Tour display along with “The Professor” Gary Bailey this Saturday in the Pits from 12pm to 5pm at the Angel Stadium prior to the evening’s race.

About the Tour
The Legends & Heroes Motocross Tour is a professional historical display and a time-line of Americas greatest motorsport. The tour includes the machines and the champs of Motocross. The project was conceived by a dedicated group of Motocross Enthusiasts who, over the years, have discovered the value of the rich 40+ years of motocross behind us and its impact on American motorsports history. “The dedication and passion for the sport has brought the Legends & Heroes Motocross Tour to the next level of sharing this legacy, the evolution of the machines and the men and women of Motocross. The history of the Classic Iron and its' champions is a dynamic model ever changing. We see the delivery of this message as a great learning lab for all ages”, adds Alex Moroz.
