Update on Trouble in Texas

Following up on a report that Racer X posted concerning allegations of an incident that took place in February '09 at Lake Whitney in Texas, we received a statement from a sponsor and friend of one of the parties involved that wished to explain more about the situation:
"The riders involved with the allegations are cooperating with the authorities 100% in order to put this ordeal behind them as quickly as possible, and some have even went to the authorities on their own. Obviously this is a very unfortunate situation for everyone involved. The truth will come out in time but please remember in the meantime that our legal system is founded on the premise of 'Innocent Until Proven Guilty.' Something of this nature can seriously ruin the lives of everyone involved; we should not be quick to judge another person without all the facts."
