Trackside Transponders for Karting

Because of the high demand for a more affordable transponder in karting, Trackside will release a special version of the software in the spring of 2011. Now kart race promoters will be able to use Trackside to manage their races too just as MX promoters have for over 10 years.

Trackside introduces text service at Mini O's

Recently, Trackside has introduced a new way for racers and family members to get their lap times, current positions and results at the track. During specific events, you can now text a racers number to our server and receive back texts with that racers current position and lap time during the race. Then, after the race, the finish positions will be sent via text to your phone. This is informative and fun for the racer and his pit crew as well as a nice tool for fans who could not make it to the race!

Races that have used this service are the GNCC Series, The Suzuki Triple Crown Shoot Out at Doublin Gap, and the Mini Olympics in Gatorback Florida. Look for it at the next big amateur event.

Daytona Supercross Amateur Day

This March, the Daytona Supercross Amateur event will again be scored using the Trackside Transponder. This race was a fantastic success last year with every moto scored instantly and accurately.
