LOS ANGELES, CA - FUEL TV announces the return of motocross star James "Bubba" Stewart in season two of "Bubba’s World" presented by GEICO, premiering Thursday, December 2, at 10:00pm ET/PT. Watch what happens when James’ number-one position is threatened by a potentially career-ending injury. After the injury, James leaves the stadiums packed with screaming fans and is thrust into a turbulent and uncertain journey where sponsors, friends, family and handlers all rely on his ability to race for their own livelihoods. Riveting and entertaining, season two of "Bubba’s World" provides one of the most revealing behind-the-scenes look into professional motorsports.
"This season of ‘Bubba’s World’ takes the drama and frustration of being an injured pro athlete to another level," says Shon Tomlin, FUEL TV SVP of Programming and Marketing, and series’ Executive Producer. "You rarely get this kind of unfiltered access to a world-class athlete who is fighting to regain his crown. The new season embeds you in James’ life at a time when everything he’s ever known is on the line and there’s uncertainty at every turn."
"This past year has had a lot of ups and downs for me personally, and it’s been hard having the cameras follow me through the whole process," says "Bubba’s World" Star James Stewart. "I want to show people what it’s been like dealing with the injury and trying to come back from it. People will see what my life is like, and will get to know my family and friends a lot better this season."
"Last season was time for healing and personal exploration for James," says Executive Producer Terence Michael, owner of 100% Terry Cloth, the production company behind the series. "This season, however, it’s time for James to show that he has the confidence, determination and skill to once again become the greatest motocross rider on the circuit. But where there's risk, there's the unknown. With the clock ticking on a comeback that may or may not happen, the drama and suspense is cranked up with genuine pressure and emotion emanating from the Stewart camp. And it will take until the last episode to find out if James will reclaim his number-one title, or be standing in the unemployment line."
"Bubba’s World" presented by GEICO premieres FUEL TV on Thursday, December 2, at 10:00pm ET/PT and each episode re-airs several times throughout the week. Episodes are also available on iTunes for $1.99.
