World Celebrities MX Racing in Mexico?

An online report about a peculiar-sounding race near Guadalajara, Mexico, this summer popped up in our in-box this morning. According to Elite Traveled, the Private Jet Lifestyle Magazine, the World Celebrities Motocross Race will take place at the Nicolas Espana motordome and include such well-known riders as Stefan Everts, Jeff Ward, Rick Johnson, Sebastien Tortelli and more. There's also mention of a selection of Mexican riders from this event that will be "classified to compete in the Motocross World Championship, which will take place in San Bernardino, California on November 6th and 7th, 2010." No idea what's going on there, as the U.S. Grand Prix at Glen Helen takes place in May.
