Stroupe has finished on the podium in all but one race in 2010.
Brea, Calif. – The Rockstar Makita Suzuki team is ready to get back to racing after a week off from the AMA Supercross series. The team’s riders have had a successful season so far, and they’re looking to improve their overall points standings after the dust settles Saturday night in Houston’s Reliant Stadium.
Ryan Dungey has been consistently chalking up points in the Supercross class, which he leads with a 21-point advantage. His 2010 RM-Z450’s fuel-injected engine has been pumping out horsepower, which has allowed Dungey to put distance between himself and the pack.
Austin Stroupe has also had a consistently good run in the Eastern Regional Lites class. The all-new, fuel-injected 2010 RM-Z250 has been a great asset to Stroupe’s run toward a championship, allowing him to be confident and smooth on the track. Stroupe has finished on the podium in all but one race and is currently second in overall points, only 8 back from the leader.
On Friday, April 9, Dungey and Stroupe will be at Stubbs 59 signing autographs for fans. The event is slated from 6 to 7 p.m., and will take place at 10430 Southwest Freeway in Houston. The Rockstar Energy Suzuki team of Tommy Hahn, Blake Baggett, and Jake Moss will also be there to sign autographs.
