AMP MX, a new track in Heflin, AL, is set to host their first race and kick off the racing season with a BANG!! After having some early success with their open practice weekends they have had since opening in mid November, the team at AMP MX, is excited for this race. “We have been pulling in between 70-120 riders per day for our practices, and everyone really seems to enjoy the track and seem very appreciative of all the hard work we have been putting in.”, says former Pro and AMP MX team member, Matt Shue. Matt also adds, “Our team is strong and made up of people from all sides of the MX world and above all else, we all know what we would like to see at a race track, therefore we have been doing everything we can to give our riders/racers the best experience possible.”
The AMP MX “Spring Fling Challenge” is not an AMA sanctioned race and everyone is invited!! There will be classes for all ages and skill levels, and even a 2 STROKE Amateur class that should send the sweet sound of multiple 2 Strokes on the track, throughout the property!! “We have some really cool “number plate” style trophies for the top 5 in each class, along with some very generous discount certificates/coupons and free product from our many sponsors like, Suzuki, Pirelli, Sunstar, Total Control Suspension, Matrix Concepts, Ambush Board Company, X-tream Clean, Roost MX, Tucker Rocky/Answer, Pit Posse Motorsports/Outlaw Racing Products and Action Vinyl Works”, stated Shue. “Being a former Pro racer, I know how important a “GUARANTEED” Pro Purse is for the local Pro-Am racers, so we have set a $1000 Minimum purse, that will only increase with more pro entries!!”, added Matt. So everyone from the Pro's to the kids have the opportunity to walk away with some worthy awards, that should entice everyone to attend this race!!

AMP MX is located just inside Alabama, only 1 hour west of Atlanta and 1 hour east of Birmingham, and on the right side of Co. Rd 49, only 1 mile south of I-20. Making it very convenient and easy to get to.
