H&H Race Report: Daytona
March 10, 2010 4:50pm
Daytona, Florida- The Rockstar/Hart & Huntington SX team reached the halfway point of the AMA Supercross series with one goal in mind-to get better. Team riders Chris Blose and Matt Boni have both been impressive the last few races and the guys looked to keep that roll going.
The historic (and rough) Daytona track provided the perfect setting to show that their Independent Suspension company’s components were set up perfectly and both riders transferred directly to the 450 main event with ease.
Once there Blose got his usual great start and was well inside the top ten before crashing on the second lap and being forced to work his way from the back. Boni didn’t get the jump he needed and rounded the first turn outside the top fifteen. The guys worked hard, dug down deep and eventually Boni climbed to 13th and Blose had some more troubles and was forced to end his race in 17th.
With their Daytona results, Blose remains in 14th in the series points and Boni, after missing a few races with injury, climbed closer to the top twenty.
As always, the pits were rocking with Rockstar Energy drink being given away, the fans were hanging out and having a good time. The Rockstar Hart & Huntington team is the place to be this year in the supercross pits. Come by this weekend in Toronto, get an autograph and a Rockstar Energy Drink!
