VP Announces New MR12 Fuel

  • VP Announces New MR12 Fuel
SAN ANTONIO, TX - VP Racing Fuels’ search for more power is never-ending, but its MR12TM racing fuel represents a quantum leap in its quest.  “MR12 is engineered to generate maximum horsepower in 4-stroke applications and it really delivers,” said Bruce Hendel, VP’s Western Regional Manager. “While VP’s MR9 previously made more power than any other motorcycle fuel on the market, dyno tests show MR12 ups the ante by another 5%!   Compared to VP’s MRX01, MR12 delivers up to 6% more power and compared to pump gas, up to a whopping 11%!”

“The new technology used in MR12 was built on the technological foundation laid with MR9,” Hendel continued. “Given that MR9 provided the power for numerous champions in all AMA Superbike classes as well as AMA Motocross, customers can be assured of world-class performance with MR12.”

VP has introduced other fuels with comparable performance characteristics in the past, primarily designed to conform with AMA Pro Racing fuel requirements, according to Hendel. “For racers who have no fuel rule restrictions, MR12 represents the best balance between performance and cost.” Although currently not legal in AMA Pro Racing, MR12 passes fuel rules for AMA Pro/Am, CCS, WERA, AFM, NMA, WORCS, SCORE and Best in the Desert as well as club level racing and more.

VP’s R&D group has been prolific over the years, developing nearly 70 fuel blends for applications across all of motorsports. “MR12 is just one example of our commitment to stay ahead of the competition with constant innovation,” Hendel concluded.

Since 1975, VP Racing has fueled champions in virtually every racing category and class. VP’s fuels have earned a reputation for superior power and consistency – as illustrated by its sweep of championships in all classes of AMA Supercross, Motocross, Superbike and Supermoto for five consecutive years through 2008.

VP is the Official Racing Fuel of GNCC, AMA Flat Track and NHRA Championship Drag Racing as well as contingency sponsor and/or fuel of choice for champions in AMA Supercross; AMA Motocross; AMA Dragbike; and ASRA/CCS among more than 50 VP-sponsored series and sanctioning bodies.

In addition to fuels, VP’s product line includes performance chemicals, traction adhesives and racing-related accessories – each designed to produce the most power and best performance in their respective racing applications. More information can be obtained from VP’s website – vpracingfuels.com.
