MSR Race Report: Indy
February 23, 2010 5:44pm
Corona, CA - At the conclusion of Saturday night’s main event in Indianapolis, Kevin Windham was able to capture a podium position sporting MSR’s Renegade gear. Windham was on point all day with top qualifying spot, winning his heat race and leading just past the half way point in the 20 lap final. After some intense battles with both Villopoto and Dungey, Kevin rode strong to finish third for the second week in a row. The crafty veteran was happy with his performance, but not satisfied; look for him to improve on his finish in weeks to come.
Throughout the day’s qualifying and racing Windham competed in MSR’s mid-level Renegade line. Kevin’s podium performance is a true testament to the quality and innovation that MSR has instilled in all their motocross gear. With features superior to most high-end apparel, you can order the same gear package that Windham wore Saturday for less than $155 MSRP (pant, jersey and gloves) at your favorite Tucker Rocky dealer.
Also logging notable performances in MSR gear were Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Nick Wey (SX class 8th place), Valli Motorsport’s Kyle Regal (Lites class 7th place) and Honda of Troy’s Levi Kilbarger (Lites class 13th place).
You can keep up to date on all of the team riders and company news through the official MSR Facebook, Myspace and Twitter accounts.
