Carmichael, Weimer, Wey and Seely on DMXS Radio Tonight!

Monster Energy/Turner Motosports’ Ricky Carmichael has a busy few weeks lined up for Daytona. He just scored his career best ARCA Racing Series finish last week while swapping paint until the checkered flag, and will race the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series opener this Friday on the famous Daytona International Speedway’s 2.5 mile tri-oval. He will be back for the inaugural Ricky Carmichael Amateur Supercross Championship and Ricky Carmichael University riding school on March 7-8. The 15-Time AMA National Champion may have moved on to four wheels, but his roots are firmly planted in motocross and will always give back to the sport that supported him throughout his amazing career. We will discuss everything from Danica (if there was a berm on that track, she’d be over it) to the tight supercross championship battles so be sure to tune in to hear the latest from The GOAT.
Pro Circuit’s Jake Weimer holds a comfortable points lead with only three rounds remaining, but this season has reminded us that anything can happen so he and his golden blonde locks are not taking anything for granted. Jake is always a fun guest to have on with his quick wit and quirky sense of humor and we look forward to catching up after he gets done with a hot-oil perm tonight.
Nick Wey is on loan to fill the Factory Kawasaki seat left vacant by Chad Reed and is making the most of the opportunity. Now that he has had a few weeks to adjust to the new bike it’s about time to hear directly from the Michigan Mafia transplant on his season so far and how much longer he will be under their tent.
Troy Lee Designs/Lucas Oils Cole Seely had his best career finish ever in San Diego and impressively battled until the very last possible second and confirmed to others what David Pingree already knew. This kid is for real and is steadily working his way up the food chain in a stacked class. Unfortunately, he sustained a hip injury yesterday in practice that appears serious. We will hear directly form Cole on the prognosis and when he might be back on a bike.
