DC Takes Top Two at SD

VISTA, CA — Congratulations to DC Motocross riders Davi Millsaps and Josh Hill who took first and second on Saturday night in San Diego, CA at the fifth AMA Supercross race of the season.
This is the first win of the season for 21-year-old Davi who passed rider Nick Way at the beginning of the 20-lap race and remained in the lead for the rest of the race. The first place win helped Davi move up to forth in the overall point standings with 82 points.
“It was an amazing race, I’m so pumped to have won,” said Davi. “It’s always great to have the support of my sponsors, like DC, behind me.”
DC teammate Josh Hill took second place after pulling ahead of rider Ivan Tedesco with two laps to go in the final race. This was the third straight runner-up finish of the season for Josh. This win puts him in second place in series standings with 101 points, a mere four points behind leader Ryan Dungey.
“I’m stoked to get another podium and be that much closer to the points lead,” said Josh. “If anyone was going to beat me, I’m happy it was Davi.”
The next race for Davi and Josh as they compete in the 2010 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship Series is next Saturday, February 13th in Anaheim, CA.
