The Monster Energy Supercross circuit has found its way home to San Diego. With Ryan Villopoto’s win last week in San Francisco, and Jake Weimer sitting atop the Lites West standings, there could not be a better time for SX to return to Thor MX’s backyard. To celebrate this weekend’s event in style, Ryan Villopoto will be sporting some never before seen custom flux gear. Make sure to keep an eye out for Ryan Villopoto on Saturday. Thor TV has wrapped up its west coast swing, but will be back shortly when the Monster Energy Supercross circuit heads to Atlanta. Fans should be excited to hear that marquee guests are already being confirmed as Supercross prepares to hit the east coast. This past weekend’s action included featured guest Mike Fisher who is the Team Manager for the Monster Energy Kawasaki team. Mike filled us in on his new rider while Chad Reed is recovering from surgery, and shared some thoughts on the beginning of the SX season.

A second clip now available on thormx.com highlights Thor’s commitment and support to the Asterisk Medical Team. Obviously injuries are the last thing anyone wants, but they are a part of the sport. With support from Thor and others, the Asterisk Medical Team has spearheaded an increase in the overall level of medical care available to riders at SX events. They are insuring that in the event of an injury, riders are able to receive valuable and timely medical attention. We stopped by the Asterisk truck to take a behind the scenes look at what they are able to offer riders.
With Supercross right around the corner, the Thor office is opening its doors to host the inaugural Thor Open House on Friday night. Dealers, Thor employees, and guests will have the opportunity to look behind the scenes at how Thor MX produces the apparel and products that Thor rider’s and race fans depend on.
