Stewart Back on Podium at A2

Corona, CA- Coming into the third round of the AMA Supercross series, Answer Racing’s James Stewart was looking to put last weekends event filled race behind him and recover some valuable ground in the points standing. After taking the past week off from riding and trying to recover, James still came into the weekend with some uncertainty as to if he was going to be able to race. Yet, like the true champion he is, James was able to put aside the pain and save his chance at the 2010 AMA Supercross title.
When checkered flag dropped at the end of the 20 lap main, Stewart was able to put his head down and capture the third spot on the podium after a great battle with his teammate Josh Hill and the series point leader Ryan Dungey. From the start of the nights main event the crowd was on their feet as these three individuals swapped the lead position numerous times. Walking away with 20 valuable points, James was able to preserve his chance at becoming the 2010 Supercross Champion as he now sits in 5th place a mere 21 points out of the lead.
