January 21, 2010, 10:07pm
The Matt Walker School of MX will be heading to Lake Whitney, Texas, for a five-day school that will run February 22-26. This school will be focusing on getting riders ready for the National at Lake Whitney, which begins March 8, 2010. During the five-day training camp, the riders will be working on all skills needed to achieve a successful performance at the national. Nothing will be left out at this school. Riding hours are from 8:00-4:00 p.m. The afternoons will be spent giving advice to riders and their parents on sponsorships, race-day routines, nutrition and more. This school will be shot on video and streamed on VurbMoto.com.
"Having won several championships myself at Whitney, I cannot wait to go back and do a school," says Matt Walker. "We will be the only riders training on the track before the National! To be able to train on a national track, nearly a week away from the national, is a huge advantage over everyone. This is a great confidence builder for your rider. I hope to hear from you."
