More on Stewart to Nike Boots

After breaking the story earlier today, we have been in touch with numerous other sources, and have found out that the “James Stewart to wear Nike motocross boots at Anaheim I” story is confirmed. At Anaheim I, San Manuel Yamaha’s James Stewart will be sporting brand-new Nike boots.
You may remember that prior to the 2009 season, Nike signed on as an associate sponsor of the San Manuel Yamaha race team, and Stewart himself has been featured in a Toyota commercial during the 2009 Monster Energy/AMA Supercross Series wearing a Nike shirt. He’s been a “Nike 6.0” team member since the beginning of last year as well.
Since his switch from Fox Racing after the 2008 season, Stewart has been wearing Alpinestars boots, and one of our sources today said that there are no hard feelings in the relationship between Alpinestars and Stewart.
