  • This is the 37th season of AMA Supercross (1974-2010)

  • The first points paying AMA Supercross event was held March 9th, 1974 in Daytona, Fla., and Pierre Karsmakers won on a Yamaha

  • Later that year, Karsmakers went on to win the first ever AMA Supercross championship.

  • Since 1974, there have been 504 rounds of Monster Energy AMA Supercross.

  • There have been 52 different racers to win a Monster Energy AMA Supercross main event.
