More than two hours of the 5-Time 500cc World Champion stories are available for the first time.
FULLERTON, CALIF. - It's been four years since Roger DeCoster's "Motocross Files" program aired on Speed as part of Season One for this ground breaking series about the history and legends of motocross and supercross. Since the television program was only 22 1/2 minutes long, people have clamored for more stories of Roger's incredible 40+ year career. The Producers of "The Motocross Files", Pipeline Digital Media, LLC (PDM) have released their third long-play, DVD version of their acclaimed TV series featuring none other than "The Man" himself, Roger DeCoster.
"I'm glad the DVD for my Motocross Files program is now available so everyone can see what was left out of the original show," said Roger DeCoster, 5-Time, 500cc World Champion. "Todd and his team worked really hard to bring many of my best stories and memories of my career to life for everyone to enjoy." DeCoster added.
The DVD features the original TV show in it's entirety, plus 82 minutes of expanded and deleted scenes covering Roger's early childhood and career, switching from CZ to Suzuki, his five World Championship titles, good times, injuries, the move to Honda, retirement and more. This section also features rare photos and archival footage never seen before. In addition, a special feature is included with retired pro riders, industry executives, etc. talking about "Why Roger is 'The Man'." Over 2 hours of content is packed into this DVD.
"It was great that such a legend was part of our inaugural season when we started "The Motocross Files," said Todd Huffman, Producer/Director of "The Motocross Files". "To have Roger's DVD finally out for everyone to see what we agonized over leaving on the cutting room floor is truly special. He really is "The Man" and was very helpful completing this important project."
