Top French Racer Timotei Potisek Dies

Le Touquet (French beach enduro) Champion Timotei Potisek passed away Tuesday after a bad crash last Friday at his home track.
Timotei broke his C1 and C2 vertebrae and fell unconscious with cardiac arrest. He was operated the same night and left in coma. Unfortunately Timotei died at just 25 years of age.
The famous beach race at Loon Plage is scheduled for November 21 and 22, and this tragic accident will weight heavily on the minds of all participants. Potisek won Le Touquet in 2008 and 2009.
Timotei Potisek also participated in MX1 GPs in the past and often finished top 15. He collected 22 points this year in MX1.
