  • Leo Vince Adds Carbon Components to Off-Road Line
LeoVince USA is proud to announce the expansion of its carbon fiber production to now include components for off-road motorcycle

Richmond, CA- November 11, 2009 - LeoVince is continuing to expand its offerings to the global motorcycle market in more ways than ever before.

A new expanded "Carbon Fiber" division has been set up within LeoVince, which besides providing accessories for exhaust systems (exhaust guards, muffler straps, mounting brackets & heat shields) is now developing special motorcycle components-both aesthetic and functional pieces for enduro and motor cross bikes.

The range, which initially is being launched with fitments for Honda and Yamaha models, will quickly expand to include pieces for Kawasaki, Suzuki, KTM and Husqvarna motorcycles. The line will currently offer front and rear disc covers-the first of which were tested and used by MX1 World Champion, Antonio Cairoli-and extends to other items such as brake caliper guards, chain guides, right/left engine protectors, front sprocket covers and skid plates.

All items are "Full Carbon", i.e. they are made completely from carbon fiber to guarantee structural resistance, lightness, quality, and great looks. Tim Calhoun, Executive Vice President of LeoVince USA states; "what separates our carbon fiber components from most components currently available is that they are constructed entirely of technical carbon fiber that is autoclaved on polished molds. This gives it an excellent finished quality and incredible strength. Most component companies are molding resin with a thin layer of carbon fiber or carbon fiber looking material on each side. We use a pre-impregnated all carbon fiber sheet and the autoclave it to a specific shape. We will be VERY price competitive with a stronger and more durable component." He continues; In keeping with the LeoVince philosophy, we are doing everything in "in house." This is what has always separated us from other exhaust companies in the sector, our durability, fit and quality control and it is what we feel will separate us from other carbon fiber component companies as well."

Because of LeoVince's long history in the off-road sector there is a high degree of experience to draw from. One example of this is something as simple as the difference between our enduro and motocross skid plates. Our enduro skid plate is larger and wraps around further than the motocross plate, as the two sports require different functionality.

All components of the "Carbon Fiber" product line will be pre-drilled and have all the brackets and hardware necessary for installation, in order to provide the end customer with a good fitting and easy to install product.
