Taft, CA - Honolulu Hills Raceway has became the home of the "Supercross Academy" over the past month and what an impact it is making on the privateer world here in Central California. Bryan McDonald of Longshot Racing & Tim Bower, father of Tyler Bowers are the masterminds behind this unique venture and it has drawn a huge amount of exposure over the past few weeks. A 15 week structured academy specializing in training, riding, nutrition, and mind focus has become the goal of these young men and the future that sits in front of them. McDonald, a trainer from back east came to the Taft facility along with Tim to provide the ultimate training center for these young enthusiasts and prepare them for the 2010 Supercross/Arenacross season.
"This is truly a unique situation we have out here. Honolulu Hills has really stepped up with providing the ultimate facility for this training academy. Chris Oneal with PrivateerMXTV has been on site filming the entire time and capturing the hard work behind these young men. We just wanted a place where guys can come and ride, train and get away from the busy life that surrounds this style and type of career they have chosen. We are in a remote area and preparring them for the upcoming season. I'm very happy for them and Bryan and I are excited to help them acheive each of their career goals in this demanding sport as we all know." Tim Bowers of the Supercross Academy
The program contains (20) slots for 3- 5 week phases where they will ride two professionaly built and specialized SX tracks. Anyone interested in getting involved can contact Tim Bowers at (859) 329-8427 to reserve your spot for the final two phases. Call today for details and pricing on this training opportunity.
