Pre-Des Moines AX Clinic Update
A few spots remain for the upcoming Storm Lake Honda Arenacross team's Pre-Des Moines riding clinic. The one-day event is scheduled for Sunday, November 1st.
Guest instructors include Kurt McCabe, 2009 Central Region Arenacross Lites Champion, and his teammates Brian Foster and Ricky Draper.
Registration is at 8:00 a.m. and instruction begins right away with the team's mechanics helping out moms and dads with bike set up. "This year's series has many opportunities for riders in our area to compete on these challenging tracks. We'll be watching our students to see how they do in Des Moines, Kansas City, Council Bluffs, and Tulsa," stated event organizer and team manager Matt Draper. After the clinic the team will attend the Des Moines race prior to heading north for the Midwest Supercross in Brookings, SD.
Works Connection and UFO have been added to the list of sponsors, kicking in some goodies for the students' AX halloween prize bag! Joining them in support of the clinic are EVS, Tamer, Pro Wheel, Amsoil, and theoilmart.com. Discount entry fee coupons will also be available from the AMA National Arenacross series which may be used for the Des Moines round. Lunch is included as well.
