Elevation Grand Prix at Boreal Ski Resort This Weekend

Jason Becker, a high school senior at Del Oro High School in Loomis, CA, needed something to do for his senior class project. Jason, being a motocross rider, came up with the idea of putting on a race. After hours of planning and working with his mentor the Elevation Grand Prix was born.  The location is the Boreal Ski Resort near Lake Tahoe, and there are six races scheduled plus a 30 minute “pre race” to allow riders to check out the course. There will also be a two hour team race for up to five riders per team.  All proceeds are benefiting the Auburn Ski Club.  No memberships are needed, prices are affordable at only $25 per entry.  There is no gate fee for the event and spectators are free.
