The richest weekend ever is coming to Muddy Creek Raceway. The 22nd annual SUZUKI TOP GUN SHOWDOWN presented by WXBQ FM will feature series races with factory contingency both days.. October 16-17-18 is a date you need to mark on your calendar for the "2009 MAIN EVENT" for the THOR MEGA SERIES by DUNLOP. Saturday is a round of the PARTS UNLIMITED ULTRA SERIES by FMF and pays over $62,000.00 in factory contingency and is also a round of the SAS Tour by DUNLOP. Sunday its over $58,000.00 in factory contingency for the THOR MEGA SERIES by DUNLOP. Sunday's event is also an AMA Pro-Am point paying event which will be paying DOUBLE POINTS to the Mega Series riders.

Saturday's race is also a qualifier for the SUNDAY MAIN EVENT. The Saturday race is 2 motos for everyone. For Sunday the "TOP 5" in the THOR MEGA Series are seeded in and get the first 5 positions on the start gate. THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO THE 250 PRO, 450 PRO, & ATV PRO CLASSES. The remaining 35 positions (15 positions for ATV classes) will come from the Saturday race. EVERY YEAR the start gate has empty spots available on Sunday because riders think the gate is already full. Part of Saturday's riders are already qualified but ridding anyway, so in reality it would EVERYONE WHO FINISHES IN THE TOP 40. For sure if you aren't in the TOP 5 IN THE MEGA SERIES you MUST RACE ON SATURDAY or you can't race on Sunday. PROS will race both days, 2 motos each day with a purse plus the factory contingency.
GATES open THURSDAY at 3:30pm. Gates close at 12:00 midnight each day.
